Although Starbucks isn’t my go-to health drink shop, I do really enjoy their Frappuccinos. Recently I’ve become fond of the Java Chip Frappuccino, although unhealthy. Instead, I’ve created my own healthier twist (with more improvement needed) of a Frappuccino. Generally, you should use organic ingredients, but if organic isn’t an available option, the Mocha drink should still taste amazing!


  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of Mount Hagen Organic Fair Trade Instant Decaf Coffee
  • 2 large scoops of double chocolate chip ice cream
  • Whipped cream on top (optional) and chocolate drizzle

After you have gathered all your ingredients, combine them in a glass and wait for the ice cream to start to melt. Mix well, but don’t allow the ice cream to completely melt, or the drink will be too liquidy. If you want, add some whipped cream and chocolate drizzle to perfect the Starbucks Frappuccino. Enjoy!!!

In my next attempt to make this, I will add ice and some chocolate chips and blend everything together to have a more chocolatey and refreshing experience.
